Night Watch
A one-page brief on your business at 6am. Every business day.
What it is
Every night, an AI agent reads your business's paper trail: invoices and payments (Xero), your inbox, your calendar, your job pipeline. It writes you a one-page brief, in plain English, in your inbox by 6am: what moved yesterday, what's overdue or going quiet, and what needs a decision from you.
What it solves
Nobody in a small business reads everything. Invoices drift past due, a quote sits unanswered while the customer shops around, a subscription renews that nobody uses, a job goes quiet. None of it is dramatic. That's exactly why nobody notices for a month. And a month is what it costs.
We run this exact system on our own business every night. It has caught failed payments the morning they happened, unused subscriptions, expiring credentials, and work that ended with nothing written down. Boring things. Expensive things.
What you get
- One-page brief, 6am, every business day
- Cross-system read (Xero + inbox + calendar + job pipeline): the pattern no single app shows you
- Calibrated to how you run: your 30-day overdue is not the next business's
- Monthly value ledger: what the watch caught, what it was worth
- Read-only access only: we can see, never touch, your systems
- NZ Privacy Act handling, in writing

How it works
| 1 · Setup call | What you want watched, what counts as "slipping" for your business, who gets the brief. |
| 2 · Connect | Read-only connections: Xero, inbox, calendar, job pipeline, plus a 2–3 month look-back so the watch knows your normal. |
| 3 · Calibrate | First 4 weeks: thresholds tuned to your tolerance. Your 30-day overdue is not the next business's. |
| 4 · Run | 6am brief every business day. Monthly value ledger. |
Common questions
- Is this just Xero's reports?
- No. Xero sees Xero. The value is the cross-read: the unanswered quote in your inbox + the silent job in your pipeline + the invoice drifting past due: one pattern, one page. No single tool shows you that.
- Can the AI touch my accounts?
- No. Read-only, everywhere, by design. The brief tells you; you act.
- Is this financial advice?
- No, it's an evidence and consistency report on your own business data. Your accountant and lawyer stay your accountant and lawyer.
